London-based FloLIVE, a connectivity management platform for Internet of Things devices, has raised $21.5 million in a Series B round led by 83North.

Dell Technologies Capital, Saban Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures were also involved.

Founded in 2015, floLIVE's platform allows enterprise users to connect any device locally, securely and reliably.

Nir Shalom, formerly General Manager of AT&T Israel and Vice President of Network Application Development of AT&T, has also been named as the company’s new CEO.

He said: “We are witnessing a growing demand for seamless, global and secure connectivity services among enterprises and are in a great position to serve this market with our advanced platform and deep market understanding.

"Many solutions in the market provide some of the required elements, but no single vendor offers a holistic service like ours.”

The start-up is looking to use the funding to strengthen its market position in Europe, Asia, and North America. The company raised $4.2m in a Series A round in 2017.
