London-based marketing, technology and creative recruitment firm Talentful has launched what it claims is the world’s first platform which links jobseekers to their best-matched roles on the job market based on their personality type.

With 85 per cent of the global workforce described as “emotionally disconnected from the workplace”, Talentful believes there’s a better way for people to find jobs and get more fulfilment from their career.

That’s why it’s on a mission to unleash human potential and the new culture matching platform was born out of the belief that even the most brilliant people will only hit their full potential when surrounded by a balanced and supportive team.

The company said it has perfected the practice of building great teams after working with hundreds of the world’s most innovative companies to help them build game-changing teams, including WeWork, King and Starling Bank.

Talentful said its unique culture matching quiz was created by combining cutting-edge technology with expert insights from psychometric experts and Talentful’s experience of building the best teams in the world.

The tailored questions algorithmically calculate the jobseeker’s personality type, to give one of eight personality archetypes:

  • The Leader
  • The Innovator
  • The Team Player
  • The Adaptable One
  • The Practical One
  • The Analyst
  • The Influencer
  • The Entrepreneur

Then, it connects them to the real positions on the job market based on their results and shows the best-matched jobs available to apply for, giving a personalised culture fit score out of 100 for each position.

So, whether they’ll be taking charge as The Leader (like Winston Churchill), focused and calm as The Executor (like Amazon’s Jeff Bezos), or the ideas person as The Entrepreneur (like Richard Branson), they’ll be walking into their new job confident that they are a perfect match for their new team, the company said.

“Over the last few years Talentful has helped some of the best tech companies in the world build great teams, and we’ll still continue to do that”, said Phil Blaydes, Talentful founder and co-CEO.

“But now we’re also focused on giving power back to the jobseekers, giving them the best chance for them to find their ideal team by matching their unique personality with the perfect role.

“Our mission at Talentful is to unleash human potential and we believe the new culture matching platform is an exciting step to help people enjoy work and get more fulfilment from their careers.”
