Little Dot Studios, the All3Media-owned digital studio, has acquired London-based content agency Wing.

Wing, launched in 2009 by husband and wife team Will and Tessa Ingham (pictured), specialises in sport and creates branded content for clients including the International Olympics Committee, The America’s Cup, Formula 1, Coca-Cola, Hugo Boss and McLaren.

Last year it told the Standard it had 15 staff and a turnover between £2m and £2.5m.

It's a first acquisition for Little Dot, which has offices in London, Los Angeles and Munich, and manages nearly 600 YouTube channels, Facebook pages and social video channels for sports, TV and consumer brands.

Little Dot CEO Andy Taylor said: “Acquiring Wing will enable us to accelerate our future growth with existing clients across the two companies as well as bringing in new partners.

"Wing’s creative excellence combined with Little Dot Studios’ understanding of data and platform algorithms will provide a truly unique service offering to the sport industry.”

Little Dot grew turnover to £22.2m in 2018, with profit before tax of £1.2m.
