BBC Radio London is making some changes to its late night, early morning and Sunday line-up.

Judi Love, Salma El -Wardany and Lionheart will be launching new shows in April.

Judi Love will present the Sunday morning show from 9am to 12noon. Following on from her success presenting The Scene, Judi has become a regular guest on Loose Women as well as juggling her busy schedule as a stand-up comedian.

David Robey, Editor of BBC Radio London, said: “I am thrilled that our new talent search has proved such a success that we’ve found the next generation of top presenters bringing a unique sound to the station. We have uncovered presenters who truly represent the rich diversity of London.”

Judi’s new Sunday show promises lively chat with listeners and top guests, and starts on April 5th.

She said: “I am absolutely overjoyed to be hosting and developing a new Sunday Show. This is a great opportunity and journey to be on with BBC Radio London”.

Salma El-Wardany and Lionheart will co-present the Late Show Monday to Thursday 10pm-1am from April 6th. Salma and Lionheart are favourites on The Scene both coming through the new talent search with Judi just over a year ago.

Salma added: “I'm so excited to be bringing a brand new Late Show to BBC Radio London with my co-host LionHeart. One that is centred around the personal stories of Londoners, the creatives at the heart of the city and the arts and culture that reflect who we are.”

Their new show will include topical discussion and phone-in as well as showcasing London’s diverse culture.

As well as featuring Radio London’s emerging radio talent, the schedule changes also see a more familiar voice, Jason Rosam, taking up the Early Breakfast show Monday to Friday 5-7am. Jason currently presents the Friday Early Breakfast show.

During the night the familiar voice of Radio London’s Dotun Adebayo will continue to be heard on the station as he moves to BBC Radio 5 Live’s Up All Night show Monday to Friday 1am-5am, which will be simulcast on Radio London.
