Berlin-based marketing technology startup CrossEngage is to open a London office in order to "expand the customer base in Europe".

The news comes after the company announced a new seven-digit funding round from Columbia Lake Partners and existing investors, including Vorwerk Ventures, Earlybird Venture Capital, Project A, Kreativwirtschaft, Cavalry Ventures, and 42CAP.

CrossEngage combines a real-time customer data platform with cross-channel campaign management in one single flexible SaaS approach.

The platform enables customers to seamlessly integrate all of their data sources and marketing channels. The existing infrastructure remains unchanged and is then orchestrated by one overarching system.

It integrates with email services, social media, direct mailing products, SMS notification platforms, and more.

According to the startup, its customers include DB Vertrieb GmbH, HelloFresh, Karl Lagerfeld, Depot, and Finanzcheck.
