Agency behind Amazon's award winning ad eyes US expansion

London-based creative ad agency Lucky Generals has announced its latest international expansion.
The agency is allegedly opening a new office in New York over the next two months, and will be recruiting for staff to work there.
Lucky Generals is a relatively young agency, only launching five years ago under founders Andy Nairn, Helen Calcraft and Danny Brooke-Taylor. Yet it already has some big client names under its belt, including Hostelworld. It also won an Emmy for the Super Bowl ad it created for Amazon last year, where a range of celebrities fill in for Alexa who has ‘lost her voice’.
Lucky Generals was acquired by TBWA Worldwide in 2017, and won Co-op’s £50m advertising account at the end of last year.
