Startupbootcamp (SBC) Colab InsurTech London, a branch of the global tech support and incubation organisation, will partner with Denim, the solution that promises “local marketing at scale”.

Denim, which was chosen as one of FinTech Global’s InsurTech 100 - the world’s most cutting-edge companies transforming insurance - was founded in 2015 and is based out in Midwestern America.

SBC Colab partners insurance industry leaders with innovators, discovering and supporting emerging technologies that can solve the sector’s unaddressed problems. It performs as more than a startup matchmaker, offering mentoring and testing as well.

Following their decision to bring Denim on-board, the next step will be for Denim’s founder and CEO, Gregory Bailey, to join SBC Colab at their Wilson Street location. For two weeks, he will work with market-leading insurers and financial partners.

The expectation is that a South Africa-based life insurance firm, and one UK-based commercial and personal banking and insurance group, will have engaged Denim as a provider at the end of this period.

Bailey said: "We're excited and honored to have been selected to partner with SBC Colab. Since the earliest days of Denim, we've had plans to make our platform available beyond the US.

“Our partnership with SBC Colab will pave the way to many new international opportunities. Beginning in January 2019, in London, we look forward to working with some of the largest insurance and financial services brands in the world.

“And we’re not slowing down. We'll have more exciting product announcements before the end of the year, and we have big plans for 2019 as we continue building on our mission of making marketing personal, at scale."
