London PropTech rental provider Home Made has appointed a new Head of Business Development to help continue growth in the Build to Rent space.

Headquartered just south of Blackfriars Bridge, Home Made has made the strategic appointment of Build to Rent (BtR) expert Jo Green as Head of Business Development.

Launched in 2017, Home Made is now the largest hybrid PropTech rental provider in London. It aims to improve the property rental experience for everyone involved by using a tech-first approach to reduce fees and increase transparency.

Green joins the company from Ideal Flatmate where she was UK sales director, having previously held the role of Director of PRS and Build to Rent client services at LSL’s PRSim.

Home Made’s latest BtR development launch, called Vonder Village in Brentford, managed to secure over 50% occupancy rate within only three weeks, achieving rental values 20-25% above comparable local rents.

Jo Green, Head of Business Development comments, “I am hugely excited to be joining a company that is transforming the lettings industry with a unique model delivering unrivalled results.

"With so many letting agencies over-promising and under-delivering, it is so exciting to join a company who has been testing and refining their model for over two years and can now bring actual transactional results to the sector. The value to BtR clients is huge and I look forward to working closely with Home Made and its partners to continue the impressive growth they have already achieved.”
