London tech developer Studio Graphene has announced the launch of a new office in Lisbon, Portugal.

With offices already in the UK, India and Switzerland, this latest expansion means the app and software developer is now available to take on more projects from startups through to large corporates based in continental Europe.

The new office will serve as a front-end engineering hub and work closely with the company’s global team of engineers, designers and marketers, to deliver blank canvas tech products including mobile apps, websites, IoT software and augmented reality.

Brexit planning

The Lisbon office will also ensure the company has a presence in the European Union if Brexit goes ahead. Founded and headquartered in London, Studio Graphene celebrated its fifth birthday in August 2019. Soon after it marked the completion of its 100th app project – Frolo, an online community for single parents.

Studio Graphene’s new Lisbon office is located at Rua Saraiva Carvalho 1C, Campo de Ourique, Lisboa.

Ritam Gandhi, Founder and Director of Studio Graphene, said: “I’m very excited to announce the launch of Studio Graphene’s new office in Lisbon.

“It comes at an important time for the company and means we can meet the demand from European companies requiring blank canvas technologies.

“It will also help protect the business from any adverse effects of Brexit, should it go ahead. Since our launch in 2014, I’m proud to say Studio Graphene has built a team of experienced, passionate and creative tech specialists who have helped deliver some truly innovative projects.

“Our team has now expanded to over 50 employees, and we have completed over 100 projects. This latest move marks an exciting new chapter for Studio Graphene and I look forward to what new opportunities it will bring in 2020.”
