Optomen expands SMMS' brief for social coverage

After its successful campaign for the first series of Absolutely Ascot, this week sees London agency Social Media Makes Sense re-appointed to manage the social media campaign for series two of the ITVBe reality show.

London-based TV production company Optomen has also asked SMMS to expand its social media expertise to manage Call the Cops, Crazy Delicious and the Great British Menu as well.

SMMS Director Jo Booth said: “We’re thrilled to be working again with Producer Demi Doyle and her fantastic team at Absolutely Ascot – ITVBe’s fastest growing Instagram account. And now that we’re on board for the rest of Optomen’s programme mix, it’s even better!”

Verity Sutton Barrow, Optomen’s Head of Production added: ‘After the great job SMMS did on Absolutely Ascot we’ve asked them to come on board to run the community management for a raft of our programmes.’
