Online retail platform Shopify has launched a series of new tools making it easier for users to create Facebook and Snapchat ads.

Shopify users can create both Snapchat Story Ads and Facebook Dynamic Ads from within the platform. They can also sync their inventories direct to Snapchat, so that prices and availability are updated on Snapchat Ads automatically.

Merchants can track sales through Snapchat Story Ads, with reports being sent direct to their Shopify account.

Shopify director of product, marketing tech, Michael Perry said:  “We’re anticipating all sizes of businesses on our platform are going to take advantage of the integration.

“It’s a huge step for us in terms of helping our merchants directly connect to potential customers across these platforms. And we’ve made it incredibly simple for our merchants to do these things in a very time-efficient way so that they don’t have to go back and forth between these platforms. They can actually conduct and run their marketing in one central spot, which is inside Shopify.”

Shopify has already collaborated with Snapchat for several large brands, including on bespoke direct-to-consumer campaigns for Jordan and Adidas.
