DMA launch new online learning tools

The Data & Marketing Association (DMA) has announced the launch of a series of new online learning tools.

Through its Institute of Data & Marketing (IDM) it has revamped its online education offerings to help marketers cultivate better skills in social media and GDPR.

The move comes following DMA research that found that these fields are the most important to the future of industry.

But despite their importance, the DMA found that just one in five marketers' organisations are not implementing ongoing GDPR training plans.

The IDM's new courses are intended to make online learning as effective as face-to-face sessions.

Andy Dorling, general manager at the IDM, said: “Our industry never stands still, and so businesses and their marketers must be equipped with the latest skills and insights that reflect the evolving demands of the customer. Research by the DMA has found that marketers want learning solutions to be relevant, practical and interactive – our revamped online training puts these themes at its very core."
