Perspective Pictures bags briefs from bevvy of big brands
London-based digital-first video agency, Perspective Pictures, has been appointed by several world-leading brands to create innovative and engaging stories for their online platforms.
Among those partnering with the young, dynamic agency - founded by 24 year-old Rupert Rixon in 2016 with just £50 in his bank account - are fashion retailers Topman and Coach, tech giant, Deliveroo, nutritional powdered food brand, Huel, and skincare supremo, BYBI.
On working with Perspective Pictures, Elsie Rutherford, cofounder of BYBI, said: "We started working with Perspective Pictures after coming across one of the company’s Facebook ads.
“We required a lot of content, including product advertisements, explainer videos and thought-leadership pieces.
“Perspective Pictures were up to the challenge; they’re an energetic team who work quickly and deliver best-in-class video content - we love working with them.”
Deliveroo’s rider content manager, Aren Goetcherian, said: "We love working with Perspective Pictures, they have a vibrant and energetic team who are never afraid to take risks and try new things."
Perspective’s Rixon added: “Perspective Pictures exists to make the most memorable, attention-worthy and innovative videos for brands across the world.
“We’re a young team, driven by a passion for what we do, and everyone’s hard work is reflected in the content we produce each day.
“I couldn’t be more excited to be working with these incredible, household brands.
“Whether you’re a global-leader, or a startup looking to make an impact online, we work with you to carefully assess the platform you’re looking to distribute your content and deliver amazing video which smacks your audience in the face and leaves them wanting more.
“We do this by simply understanding how audiences want to consume content. That’s all.”
Deliveroo has tasked Perspective Pictures with promoting its educational programme, which celebrates a computer science course on offer to the company’s riders and drivers.
The agency will be bringing Huel’s company culture to life whilst also producing an online series called ‘Breakfast Battles’, which will demonstrate why Huel is the right choice for the first meal of the day.
Topman required two lookbook and style videos to promote its new line of suits, which included a quick fire interview with award winning musician, Sam Fender.
Shot in a single day, the content has achieved nearly half a million views to date.
Gym finder, Hussle, and crypto company, Luno, have also called upon the rapidly growing Perspective Pictures to create tailor-made, cinematic stories that resonate with their customers.
What started out as a YouTube channel created by a 16 year-old Rixon, has since grown into an experienced team of 11 who create dynamic digital ads, documentaries, music videos, crowdfunding films, 360 videos, and commercial promos across the UK, Europe, North America, Asia, and North Africa.
Rixon believes brands need to stop posting TV-style video content online and expect people to engage with it.
He said: “Instead, they need to start working to produce more narrative-driven, well optimised and creative videos.
“Stop over-producing, stop ignoring the platforms, and start making something rad!”
The company has worked with more than 100 of the world’s leading brands including Rolls-Royce, UFC, Island Records, Google, Sony, WEX, Segro and Brewdog.
Projects have seen the team longboard across the US, drive along ‘the world’s most dangerous road’ in Bolivia, hitch-hike through India, ride a Boris Bike from London to Wales (and back) and stand up paddle board the length of the Thames.
