Data and Marketing Association partner with OneTrust for GDPR push

The Data and Marketing Association (DMA) and OneTrust have launched a strategic partnership to provide marketers with new privacy-compliant tools.

The partnership will see then pair offer a range of tools, training, and resources intended to help marketers build responsible marketing schemes that adhere to the requirements of new global requirements such as GDPR and CCPA.

OneTrust, a risk technology platform, will become the DMA's Responsible Marketing Partner. It will help the DMA deliver research and in-person workshops aimed at increasing understanding of privacy regulations and equipping marketers to deliver compliant personalised campaigns.

The partnership will also see OneTrust headline the DMA's Data Protection Summit, scheduled for 28 February in London.

Commenting on the partnership, Rachel Aldighieri, MD of the DMA, said: "As the industry association representing the data and marketing industry, acting responsibly while also creating engaging experiences that put customers first is a core tenet of our Code.
