UK consumer electronics retailer Dixons Carphone has appointed Proximity London to work on the Customer Relationship Management programmes for Currys PC World and Carphone Warehouse on a project basis.

The appointment will support the two brands’ customer engagement functions in delivering the business vision: ‘We Help Everyone Enjoy Amazing Technology’ and drive repeat purchase.

Proximity London will work on a number of projects including a back to school and university campaign as well as a series of campaigns covering the key trading periods of Black Friday, Christmas and the January sales, the firm said.

“At Dixons Carphone we are here to help everyone enjoy amazing technology”, said Dan Rubel, Customer Communications & Brand Director at Dixons Carphone.

“That’s what makes us special. It’s at the heart of everything we do, including how we help our existing customers enjoy, discover and get the most out of the exciting and ever-changing world of new technology.

“We’re very excited to bring Proximity on board, to help us take our thinking and our execution on customer engagement to the next level.”

Joe Braithwaite, Managing Director at Proximity London said: “Given their fantastic heritage, there is no retailer better placed than Dixons Carphone to help the UK find, buy and enjoy amazing technology.

“It’s an exciting rallying cry that we look forward to tackling together.”
