Hoxton Hotels owner launches Working From brand for digital workers
Hotel group, Ennismore, has launched a new workspace brand based on the company’s popular Hoxton Hotel’s comfy lobbies in London.
Called Working From, the new product has been created to fit the needs of digital workers or what the firm called “laptop warriors”.
The new shared workspace brand will roll out this October with locations within two of its hotels: The Hoxton,
Southwark (opening September 2019) and The Hoxton, Chicago (opened April 2019).
The idea came out of over a decade of insights, guided by the wishes and needs of locals, creatives and freelancers who’ve been using The Hoxton’s open-door lobbies since the brand first opened its doors in Shoreditch, London, the company said.
Addressing modern working practices
The company said it was responding to modern, flexible ways of working, saying the Working From brand will offer home-like spaces to work and meet, stress-free policies and the hospitality knowhow of The Hoxton.
It has evolved the one-size-fits-all standard office model, giving people the freedom and flexibility to work as, when, and how they want.
Designed by Ennismore Design Studio, Working From caters for all working styles and moods, the firm said.
"From library desks all benefiting from natural light, ergonomic chairs and wireless charging, to make sure everything gets done; to cosy corners and bright communal spaces with armchairs and custom designed daybeds built for dreaming the next big idea, it offers a new dedicated working environment with studio spaces, offices, wellness programmes and nutritionist-designed brain food."
Flexible membership fees
Membership costs will start from £30 for a one day pass all the way up to £700 per month for a private studio.
