Holiday operator easyJet is rolling out its interactive photo search app to Android, to help more holidaymakers find the right trip.

The Look&Book application claims to be the first of its kind, allowing users to search for a flight using just a photo. Using back-search, a consumer can enter a picture they've found online and find the details about where it is, and when they can go.

It's simple, says easyJet. "Take a screenshot of a European destination you like the look of and upload it to Look&Book in our app. We’ll then tell you where it is and which flights will get you there."

EasyJet hopes the app can help aspirational Instagram users find where they want to go quicker, and book flights directly.

It is being released across the UK, France, Italy, Germany and Switzerland on Android devices, and was created by VCCP in partnership with Travelport Digital.

Daniel Young, Head of Digital Experience at easyJet, said: “We are so excited that the Look&Book app is now available for Android users as well as iOS across Europe. Now everyone has the chance to further explore Europe with ease, with a tool which opens up new destinations and adventures for all.”
