InnovationRCA, the centre for entrepreneurship at the Royal College of Art, is set to open its first pop-up retail location.

The store will feature offerings from 16 companies created by RCA graduates, working across disciplines including ceramics, fashion, jewellery, sculpture, and textiles.

All of those companies have been part of the first round of the College's new InnovationRCA Creative Brand Accelerator scheme. The six-month programme offers business mentoring, commercial training, and advice to select brands started by RCA alumni.

The first three months of the Accelerator programme are dedicated to a "foundation stage" of workshops and coaching, while the following three months involve market validation and the opportunity for participants to present their brands to buyers and potential investors.

Beyond the Accelerator, over the past decade InnovationRCA has helped the launch of 50 startups from 75 graduates. According to the RCA, those companies have raised £39 million from investors and created more than 600 jobs in the UK.

The pop-up will be hosted at 50m, a Belgravia concept store specialising in contemporary fashion. It will be open to the public Tuesdays to Sundays from 11 to 21 June.
