The annual Innovate Finance Global Summit (IFGS) returns to London today, taking over the Guildhall in the City of London for two days.

This will mark the fifth edition of this insightful event, which is hosted by Innovate Finance, "the voice of global FinTech". The organisation brings together the most forward-thinking and groundbreaking financial services players, and has more than 250 members.

Launching at the beginning of UK FinTech Week, IFGS 2019 will see the world's most influential financial and FinTech representatives convening in London, seen by many as the world's financial technology capital. Figures from across the industry will cover developments in technology, talent and skills gaps, diversity, and Green and Embedded Finance, and much more. Speakers include Suchitra Nair, Director at Deloitte and the EMEA Centre for Regulatory Strategy; Mark Carney, Director of the Bank of England; and BBC Presenter Katie Derham.

The summit provides access to 2,000 stakeholders within the financial services sector and the exclusive chance to see cutting-edge technologies in action. The event is sponsored by Deloitte with key supporters The City of London and Broadgate, and its core group of delegates will include figures from banks, government, investors and the media, as well as entrepreneurs and partners.

The Great Hall of the ancient landmark Guildhall will be for the first time the location of IFGS's main global exhibition space, where it is possible to make connections from around the world. Furthermore, there are more networking zones than any previous years, as well as the international pavilion.

Tickets are still available today (29th April) for all those still hoping to attend.
