Tinder is planning to launch a new feature that will match users based on how they think they will deal with the end of the world.

The dating app is preparing a choose-your-own-adventure game called Swipe Night, in which users will be asked to navigate an apocalyptic scenario.

Tinder will then suggest matches based on users' chosen strategies, pairing them with people who they think will take a similar approach.

As Wired reports, the game has been developed by Tinder's Z Team, the division responsible for increasing the app's Gen Z userbase.

The team brought Karen Evans, a director responsible for videos for artists including Drake, to help develop Swipe Night.

The choose-your-own-adventure games will run weekly from October.
