Recipe picks up lead digital agency role for Kapten

London-based agency Recipe has been appointed lead digital and social agency for the UK for ride-hailing app, Kapten, following a three-way pitch process.

French owned Kapten launched in London, with TfL approval, in May 2019. The company is the second largest car-booking app service in France, with plans to expand into a further 15 cities by 2020.

Recipe will be working with Kapten on developing the strategic and creative direction of their social channels, as well as local activations and social campaigns that will go live from Autumn 2019.

“Having worked with Recipe in a previous life and enjoyed working collaboratively together, I’m delighted to have the opportunity to work together again as we launch major growth plans” said Matt Bassant, Marketing Director at Kapten.

Recipe will be working with Kapten’s appointed media agency, 7stars.
