LIDA launches 'Yellowplanner' marketer Brexit toolkit

LIDA, the M&C Saatchi customer agency, has launched a new toolkit intended to help marketers get ready for Brexit.

The Yellowplanner kit includes a series of proprietary tools designed to help brands develop their own customer comms strategies ahead of Britain's exit from the European Union.

It includes three individual products: a customer snapshot survey; a mapping tool to measure customer journeys against the expected Brexit timeline; and a programme to help brands adapt their communications to ensure that their messaging is Brexit-ready.

The kit's name references the controversial Yellowhammer document, which reportedly outlines the government's expectations for a no-deal Brexit.

Commenting on the tool, Ben Golik, Chief Creative Officer at LIDA, said: “With so many question marks surrounding the outcome of Brexit, consumers are as confused as businesses about what might happen next. We thought it was essential to look at the role that customer communications can play during this time of uncertainty. Getting Brexit-ready, and speaking to people with certainty, positivity and empathy, can give brands a real competitive advantage.”
