Google is tackling the difficulties of navigating online viewing with a new interface.

The Tinder-style flashcard setup will allow viewers to flick through choices available on the services to which they are subscribed.

Launching initially in the US, the new service will offer personalised recommendations based on users' existing viewing history.

It will provide a series of 'top picks for you', followed by a carousel through which users can swipe left or right to make a choice.

Users can also click a pop-up to see more information about specific shows.

There is no news yet on when the service will roll out worldwide.
