Gold medalist and winner of 2019’s Celebrity MasterChef, Greg Rutherford MBE, visited Gregg’s Kingsway store in London to launch the competition and took over the store for the morning.

All in the name: Greg Rutherford chefs at the famous high street bakery

No stranger to jumping into things, Greg got stuck into baking Greggs’ flagship festive menu item - The Festive Bake.

The seasonal delight is made up of chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, and sweet cured bacon in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce, all encased in golden puff pastry with a crunchy crumb topping.

“I had a lot of fun with the team at Greggs, a lot of hard work goes on at these busy stores, they deserve a gold medal”, Rutherford said.

“I was excited to learn you can get Greggs delivered on Just Eat and having tried the festive bake, I may need to put a few orders in myself!”

The exciting partnership between Greggs and Just Eat enables people in London, Newcastle and Glasgow to order a range of Greggs’ savoury and sweet menu items via Just Eat with no minimum spend, including the Festive Bake, famous Sausage Rolls, Vegan Sausage Rolls, Steak Bakes, Doughnuts, Bacon Rolls and Coffees - perfect for breakfast or lunch.

Customers can order for delivery from 8am in both Glasgow and Newcastle and from 7am in London.
