Good Morning Britain have launched a new campaign featuring presenter Piers Morgan recast as a hairdryer.

The campaign is designed to highlight Morgan’s position as a controversial and outspoken figure, known for his strident views and aggressive interviewing style.

The ‘Morgan 3000’ is the focus of ITV’s latest push for its flagship breakfast show, which also features co-host Susanna Reid.

ITV worked with Uncommon, its creative agency, on the campaign, which includes a limited run of real-life Morgan 3000s. It includes an instruction manual that runs through its features such as “easy-to-press buttons, a short fuse, and heat settings from political correctness all the way up to vegan sausage rolls.”

The campaign will also be supported by DOOH and print elements.
