B2B PR agency PAN Communications has named Martin McGourty as Associate Director in its UK office.

The integrated agency also has offices in Boston, New York, Orlando and San Francisco, and employs more than 150 internationally. Its London office has a 20-strong team and works with clients including Samsung, Monster.com and ClearScore.

McGourty was most recently Head of Marketing at VR streaming service LIVR, and has also worked in roles at Man Bites Dog and W Communications. In his new role, he'll work alongside national and global clients to provide creative services, and explore emerging markets including eco tech, legal tech and real estate tech.

Gareth Thomas, PAN Communications' UK MD, said: “Martin’s track record of spearheading brand-building programmes for high-growth tech start-ups will add tremendous value to our clients.

“We’re seeing an uptick in requests from brands that need help adjusting their marketing strategies given recent events, and he has the right mix of experience with Corp Comms and SABRE campaign awards under his belt to do the job. We’re excited to see him lead client work at PAN that will earn similar recognition.”

McGourty himself added: “What first attracted me to PAN was the client roster of innovative, market-leading technology brands and the agency’s overall approach to integrated marketing and PR. After meeting with the leadership team and getting a feel for the people-first culture that PAN UK has to offer, I was all in.

“There is a massive amount of change and adjustment going on across the globe right now, and I look forward to tackling these communication challenges with this ambitious group, while helping the team grow its technology portfolio in the coming year.”
