Mark Lund, current CEO of McCann Worldgroup UK, has been named President, UK & Europe, at McCann Worldgroup - a role he adopts on top of his current responsibilities.

Lund will lead a strong marketing communications network which operates across more than 45 countries, and spans advertising, shopper marketing, design, PR, healthcare communications, digital marketing, and more.

He joined the network in 2014, and delivered positive performance across the UK and beyond. Before McCann, Lund was the Managing Partner of NOW Advertising, which he co-founded. He was formerly CEO of the Central Office of Information, and also co-founded Delaney Lund Knox Warren - now MullenLowe London.

Harris Diamond, Chairman and CEO at McCann Worldgroup, said: “Since first joining us, Mark has focused very successfully on driving greater collaboration among all of our UK agencies while also supporting high-powered effective creativity that helped our clients achieve growth.

"Our reputation and our own growth in the market have benefitted as well. He takes over from Pablo [Walker] who has successfully guided our European network and consistently achieved recognition for creativity, effectiveness, business growth and innovation.”

Chris Macdonald, McCann Worldgroup Global President, Advertising & Allied Agencies, said: "Mark has systematically grown a model of integrated marketing communications in the UK that is increasingly what clients everywhere are looking for to drive business and brand growth. He has successfully created outstanding partnerships across our agencies and with our clients to deliver the best strategic and creative solutions for their businesses. This is reflected in McCann Worldgroup being the IPA’s current reigning Effectiveness Network of the Year.”
