Jinny Mitchell-Kent has been made the first-ever Chief Operating Officer of Great State, an independent agency with offices in London and Bristol.

Great State's clients include Honda Europe, the Royal Navy and INEOS Automotive.

Most recently, Jinny has worked as Head of Delivery at digital agency AKQA, where she led a team over 35 strong with responsibility for all delivery and operations.

At Great State, Mitchell-Kent is tasked with scaling, integrating and optimising processes within the business and building cohesion between its two offices.

Jinny said: "We share a commitment to have a positive impact on the world, however small, delivering value for clients through new technologies, agile methodologies and innovative ideas. I’m excited to be part of building their future vision.

"It’s refreshing to see an independent agency thriving in an increasingly competitive and network-dominated industry."

She will report into managing director Neil Collard, who said: "Jinny will play a crucial role in helping us to create new pioneering experiences and highly secure, robust products that customers can rely on every day.”
