Virgin Group appoints new Head of Global Brand Development

Claire Hilton, formerly Barclays' Managing Director of Brand & Insight, has moved to the Virgin Group as its new brand development lead.

She joins the London-headquartered conglomerate having spent 16 years at Barclays, leaving the high street bank in October 2019. At Virgin, Hilton will work to support more than 60 companies with their culture, purpose and brand building requirements.

Hilton said: “Virgin is a brand I have always admired. The opportunity to join the team in its 50th year is an exciting privilege. It’s going to be fascinating working with a variety of Virgin companies across multiple industries and continents to ensure Virgin’s brand DNA shines through.
