Manifesto Growth Architects, a pioneer in the new wave of growth strategy consulting, has today appointed a new partner.

Joanna Levesque will lead Manifesto’s financial services practice with a remit to help the firm’s retail FS and Payments clients navigate critical industry challenges and deliver growth through new revenue streams and innovative business models.

Levesque will bring her extensive experience to build on Manifesto’s work delivering growth strategies and new payments propositions, across its London, New York and Hong Kong offices.

Levesque joins from Accenture where she enjoyed a 20-year career and spent three years as the Managing Director of Accenture’s Customer Strategy Practice, leading it to double-digit growth.

Levesque and her team advised major banks, telcos and retail clients on customer-centric business transformation to deliver profitable top and bottom line growth.

Her move is representative of a growing outflux of employees from global, established consultancies to agile, start-up and challenger brands.

These consultancies are hungry to make their mark in an industry that has long been dominated by a handful of names.

The founders at Manifesto believe that senior talent is attracted to the ambition and creativity of the challenger brands and expect this trend to continue.

Nick Smith, Manifesto’s founding partner commented: “This will be my third time working with Jo, as a client once and colleague twice.

“She’s a uniquely talented consultant, so we are delighted that she has chosen to embrace the more entrepreneurial opportunity that Manifesto represents.

“Jo’s ‘big consulting’ experience and Manifesto’s customer-focused approach to rapidly delivering growth for our clients makes for a potent combination.”

Joanna Levesque commented: “I am delighted to be joining Manifesto at this stage in its growth story.

It’s exciting to be joining a team that challenges conventions and embraces diversity of background and thinking throughout its ranks – this is something that I believe benefits clients and is essential to the health of our industry.”

Manifesto specialises in business growth strategies and membership models for major clients, which include News Corp, Condé Nast, UBS, Pay.UK, Paym, Wagamama, Merlin and Coty.
