Koppens hired as Birds Eye Marketing Director
Sarah Koppens, former marketer at names including P&G, Cadburys, and Coca-Cola, has been appointed as Birds Eye's new Marketing Director.
It follows the promotion of former Marketing Director Steve Challouma to UK General Manager. Koppens has been hired to work on the continuation of three successful years of growth for the brand, which has made a number of acquisitions recently.
Koppens returns from a short career break, and before worked as Cadburys' Marketing Director. She said: “I’m so excited to join the Birds Eye team to help drive further fame for the brand and generate even more growth in the frozen category. The transformation of the brand has been remarkable, and the efforts of Steve and the team have rightfully been recognised across the industry.
“I’m looking forward to continuing that progression, with some fantastic initiatives and products coming up for Birds Eye.”
