Niche marketing agency PromoVeritas has appointed Shelley Davies as its new managing director.

Davies joins from The Big Kick where she worked for 12 years, most recently as client services and business development director.

In that role she led the agency's retail campaigns and its expansion into the States.

PromoVeritas run promotions campaigns for brands including Cadbury, Kellog's, and Pepsi. They also offer legal services.

The agency's founder Jeremy Stern will transition to a new role as chief executive.

Commenting on the appointment, Stern said: “We’re delighted to have Shelley join us as we experience a sustained period of growth in both revenue and breadth of services. The combination of her overseas experience together with her hands-on knowledge of running promotions makes her ideally placed to ensure PromoVeritas continues to go from strength to strength in the UK and globally.”

Davies added: “PromoVeritas have an amazingly impressive client portfolio and this, together with their special place in the market, means that this is an exciting opportunity for me. I’m looking forward to developing the work Jeremy has already done to build a genuinely unique business, and helping even more major brands to run their promotions compliantly around the world.”
