McCann has hired Jessica Tamsedge as its new London managing director.

Tamsedge joins from Grey, where she was working as joint head of account leadership.

There, she oversaw accounts for clients including Birds Eye owner Nomad Foods, GSK, The Tate, and Pladis.

She also led the GSK team that won WPP's Worldwide Partnership Award for network integration.

Prior to joining Grey Tamsedge spent four years at M&C Saatchi, leading business for Pernod Ricard, the Olympic Delivery Authority, and Transport for London.

She replaces Sheryl Marjoram, who was recently appointed CEO of McCann London.

Commenting on the appointment, Marjoram said: “Jessica is a bold and open leader with a proven track record. We’re enjoying great success at the moment, but we don’t plan to rest on our laurels and the hiring of Jessica is testament to this.

"We are gearing up for another great year fuelled all the better by an even stronger leadership team. I personally could not be more thrilled to have her by my side.”

Tamsedge added: “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the team at McCann. The collaborative spirit is palpable at every level, from the integrated Worldgroup offering to the vision of the agency’s leadership and great creative work. I look forward to supporting McCann’s agenda for creative growth and making sure we have fun while we’re at it.”
