Havas expands new business team with senior hires

Havas has bolstered its group-wide new business team with the addition of two new senior staff.

Lucinda Johnson moves from Omnicom, while Will Hooker joins from AMV BBDO. Both will work as new business directors, Johnson across Havas's media agencies and Hooker across creative.

Johnson has 17 years' experience at companies including Starcom, Mediacom, Microsoft, and Posterscope.

Hooker has worked at AMV BBDO since 2015, where he joined as an account director. Prior to that role he worked at Saatchi & Saatchi.

The pair will be responsible for new business strategy across Havas's properties, from lead generation through to pitch stage and conversion.

Johnson will report to Havas Group Media CEO UK and Ireland Matt Adams, while Hooker will report to Havas Creative Group global CMO Tracey Barber.

Barber, who was promoted to the role earlier this year, is now responsible for new business across the global Havas Creative network.

Commenting on the appointments, Barber said: “I’m very pleased to welcome Lucinda and Will to the business. Both bring a huge wealth of knowledge, rooted in their experiences at some really strong agencies, as well as a clear ability to apply pitch best practice at a broader Havas Village level.”
