New WIF board members: Driving forces of women in sport

“Monique and Lisa will each bring their own unique personal experiences and expertise to the board that will also help drive us forward at such an exciting time for Women in Football as an organisation, and across the industry.

“The response we have had since the launch of our industry-changing #WhatIf campaign last year has been staggering.

"These are hugely exciting times for Women in Football. Now with Monique and Lisa on board our focus remains on driving forward to make even more of a difference."

"Jean's input, expert advice and experience has been huge," she added. "We would like to thank Jean for everything she has done during her tenure on the board."

Women in sport representation

Parfitt has 20 years in the sports & events industry advising major brands across sports and entertainment properties, specialising in the strategic development and delivery of integrated partnerships activation campaigns. Lisa is the strategic lead for ENGINE’s women’s sport work.

This work has fuelled her fierce passion for the under representation of women in the sports industry - on the pitch, on the side-lines and in boardrooms.

Campaigns that she has spearheaded include engineering the first ever commercial sponsor of the SSE Women’s FA Cup, The Vitality Netball World Cup #WeAreRising and the Women In Football #WhatIf campaign.

In 2018 and 2019 Lisa was named in the PR Week Power 100.
