Debenhams marketing boss out in reshuffle
The long-serving marketing head of Debenhams, Richard Cristofoli, has left the business as part of a wide-scale reshuffle.
Cristofoli, Debenhams' director for marketing, beauty, and digital, said he had "regretfully" left the retailer after eight years in the job, as Drapers reports.
Debenhams is in the middle of a deep executive restructuring intended to help restore the fortunes of the ailing retailer.
Overseen by incoming chief executive Stefaan Vansteenkiste, the reshuffle accompanies the planned closure of around 50 stores.
Cristofoli was responsible, amongst other projects, for the launch of Debenhams' 'beauty hall of the future' concept.
He also drove the chain's return to TV advertising.
