Yo food chain appoints Pablo for relaunch

Yo, the chain that was previously known as Yo Sushi, has appointed independent agency Pablo.

The agency will be tasked with better communicating the range of products on offer from Yo, and encouraging customers to think of it not only as a sushi chain.

In addition, Pablo will run a full rebrand for the chain.

Pablo have won the business from BBH, Yo's previous agency. They will work on multi-platform campaigns that also leverage the growing interest in Japanese food around the UK.

Yo was previously identifiable by its conveyor belt systems installed in each restaurant.

The belt allowed customers to choose items as they passed, without having to order from waiting staff.

But Yo removed the belt system in April in a bid to broaden its appeal.
