Google’s Senior Director of Client Solutions and Analytics is leaving after three years with the company, for a return to study.

A spokesperson for Google confirmed to Prolific London that Gill Whitehead was leaving the company “to do a Masters at Oxford’s Internet Institute” as well as continuing with the Non-Executive Director roles she has with UK National Lottery owner, Camelot, and IT Services firm, Informa.

Before joining Google, Whitehead, worked for UK broadcaster Channel 4, where she worked for eight years, first as Director of Strategy and Corporate Development, then as Director of Audience Technologies & Insight.
