We Are Social hires Tom Bayliss as new chief client officer

Social-led creative agency We Are Social has appointed Tom Bayliss as its new chief client officer in the UK.

Bayliss joins from Publicis UK's Poke, where he worked as managing director. Prior to that he held the client services director position at Elvis, overseeing accounts for EE, Heineken, and Garnier.

At We Are Social, Bayliss will lead a client services division of 35, working across brands including Audi, Google, First Direct, and Vodafone. He will also sit on the company's executive board.

He takes over the role from Ellie Adamson, who leaves after five years with the agency.

Commenting on the appointment, We Are Social's UK chief executive Jim Coleman said: “Tom is a skilled businessman, a charismatic leader and a super nice person. He’s coming to us with years of experience leading a creative agency to success, both financially and culturally.

"Elie was a cornerstone of our management team for a long time and she’s been incredibly difficult to replace, but Tom immediately stood out and impressed. We’re looking forward to having him on board.”
