Childrens’ media specialist KidsKnowBest said it has made two senior hires as part of its continued expansion effort.

Former Dubit director Peter Robinson joins the firm as Chief Operating Officer, and James Kirkwood – previously lead product designer at Beano Studios – has been appointed as KidsKnowBest’s Creative Director.

The news comes just a few weeks after KidsKnowBest announced its line-up of investors, including Amy McPherson (European President, Marriott International), Hani Farsi (Chairman & Executive Producer, The Corniche Group) and Sarah Wiggins (Partner, LinkLaters).

“The addition of Peter Robinson from Dubit as KidsKnowBest’s Chief Operating Officer is a huge coup for us,” said Co-Founder Rob Lough.

“Peter is hugely experienced in technology, kids’ entertainment and ethical marketing to children. We’re delighted that he has chosen to join us.”

Co-Founder Joel Silverman added: “James Kirkwood is an incredibly talented individual, as his work at Beano Studios and Mind Candy has demonstrated.

“He is someone we’ve been looking to work with for some time, as we know he shares our vision. So we’re very happy to welcome him to the KidsKnowBest team.”
