Grey London has appointed Dave Robinson to a new role as head of integrated design.

Robinson will be charged with ensuring that design is at the heart of Grey's client offering.

He joins from VCCP, where he is currently head of design. Prior to this Robinson held roles at Saatchi and Ogilvy London.

During his 25-year career he has overseen rebrands for clients including The O2 and The FA.

Commenting on the appointment, Grey London creative chairman Adrian Rossi said: “There was only one person I wanted for this job. Dave is a design guru with a hunger for discovering the newest ways of working that offer clients something truly special. He’s a one-off who’ll be transforming our entire approach to design.”

Robinson added: “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining such a talented group of forward-thinking creatives.

"It’s a dream come true to be given the chance to build a design department with every capability in order to adapt to our constantly changing industry.”

Robinson is the second big mover to Grey this week. As we reported this morning, Grey Europe has recruited FCB Mexico's Javier Compopiano to a new role as chief creative officer of Grey Europe and global clients.

Compapiano is the mastermind behind the 'It's A Tide Ad' campaign that dominated the 2018 Super Bowl.
