Cazoo names Darren Bentley as new Chief Customer Officer
Yet-to-be-launched online used-car platform, Cazoo, has named former MoneySuperMarket Group Chief Customer Manager, Darren Bentley, as its new CCO.
Having secured over £30 million of funding late last year, Cazoo has been busy assembling a world-class team ahead of its planned launch later this year.
Cazoo aims to make buying a used car no different to buying any other product online today by letting consumers select from thousands of cars online and have it delivered to their door in as little as 48 hours.
Bentley joins Cazoo from MoneySuperMarket Group where he fulfilled various senior marketing roles and most recently was Chief Customer Officer, responsible for brand, digital marketing, CRM, customer insight, PR and customer service.
He brings with him a proven track record and over 15 years’ experience in key customer and marketing roles.
In his role as Chief Customer Officer at Cazoo, Bentley will report directly to Founder & CEO, Alex Chesterman OBE and will be responsible for digital and brand marketing, customer experience and insight and PR.
Darren will join the growing Cazoo team of over 50 people who have joined since the start of the year.
