OLIVER appoints new head of PR and brand communications

OLIVER has hired Rachel O'Rourke to lead its PR and brand communications team.

O'Rourke joins from Wunderman Thompson, where she headed up marketing and PR for its UK business.

She will be charged with boosting perception of OLIVER across the UK, and will report to CMO Lisa Bonney.

O'Rourke will also handle PR and communications in Europe, where OLIVER is continuing a rapid expansion.

Commenting on the appointment, Bonney said: “As the world looks to us as a better, faster and cheaper alternative to the traditional agency model, it’s crucial that we uncover the unsung stories of our brilliantly creative.in-house talent. Rachel joining the business is therefore an important milestone in OLIVER’s global growth. Her skill-set means that our award-winning teams will get the exposure they deserve, all whilst building OLIVER’s own brand voice.”
