The Royal Family is looking for a new digital expert to handle its social media presence.

The digital communications officer will be finding "new ways to maintain The Queen's presence in the public eye and on the world stage."

The Royal Family already have a number of social accounts and an increasingly comprehensive digital strategy. They have made significant steps in recent years to deepen their presence online, as part of their attempts to maintain popularity with a younger generation both in the UK and around the world.

The job posting seeks a candidate educated to degree level, and with previous experience delivering digital communications in a high-profile environment. It also asks for someone with specific social creation and analysis skills.

The successful applicant for the job will earn around £30,000, and will work at Buckingham Palace - which is, depending on your outlook, perhaps one of the most prestigious office addresses in the world.
