Eurotunnel Le Shuttle have engaged digital agency Crafted ahead of a re-platforming this summer.

Crafted will support and deliver the development, migration, and launch of the new Eurotunnel site. They have also been appointed to define and deliver an international SEO and content strategy.

The site will use the Kentico enterprise CMS platform, in which Crafted are certified Gold partners.

Commenting on the appointment, Eurotunnel digital manager Chris Gunton said: “From the very first meeting with Crafted it was clear that we were going to have a good relationship with them. My team and theirs just clicked, and great things have been happening ever since. Their understanding and response to our briefs were above and beyond what we expected or thought possible. They exceed expectations when delivered, the interactive 25th Anniversary campaign banner being a great example of this.

"Their broad range of technical, design and project management skills have made the re-platforming our website one of the easiest and smoothest projects I have ever worked on. We are really excited to work with Crafted on a range of future projects.”

Crafted CEO Ian Miller added: “It’s great to be working with an ambitious client to deliver a project that touches upon multiple skillsets across the agency. Eurotunnel’s marketing team understand the importance of a strong technical foundation in digital, and using our experience with both the sector and software, that’s what we’ll be delivering.

Since our appointment as a partner agency, we’ve already expanded our relationship into UI/UX and delivery of an international SEO strategy. We’re really enjoying working in partnership with the team at Eurotunnel.”

Last week Eurotunnel launched its 25th anniversary ad campaign, delivered by creative agency Southpaw. The ad focuses on the real people who've used the service since its launch.
