Brand experience agency Amplify makes senior hires following growth

London brand experience agency Amplify has made a number of senior hires.

The agency, which recorded 92 per cent growth in 2018, has bolstered its creative and live teams with new staff including Nate Thompson, who has been appointed creative director.

Thompson joins from Jack Morton UK, and has previously worked on interactive and integrated campaigns for clients including Google, Samsung, and Jameson.

Meanwhile Paige Lewis moves from Because as business lead, Laura Shalders joins as senior project manager, and Anneka Lettunich is appointed art director at Amplify’s newly opened Australian office.

Amplify, whose clients include Google, Red Bull, and Converse, has received brand agency of the year gongs from both Campaign and The Drum. The agency’s recent work includes the popular Curiosity Rooms, a five-week residency in central London to mark the launch of Google’s Pixel 3 phone.

Commenting on the appointments, Amplify founder Jonathan Emmins said: “As all businesses, we're only as good as the talented individuals that choose to call Amplify home. As well as boosting our reputation and experience in 2018, we were lucky enough to win 13 new clients last year. This, combined with establishing our Australian office, resulted in growth of 92%, with total billings rising from £13m to £25m.

“This creates amazing opportunities for old and new Amplifiers alike. Nate, Paige, Anneka and Laura join our current team of superstars and all will be vital to the next stage of our creative and commercial development.”
