The Vice President of International at skills marketplace Airtasker, Lucas London, is the latest addition to the Board of Investors for Feast It, the leading event catering booking platform.

London joins Feast It's board as Investor Director, in his role as an existing investor. Other investors include the Richard Pennycook, Chairman of On the Beach Group and previous Chairman of The Hut Group; Tim Score, Chairman-elect of British Land and former CFO of ARM Holdings; and Sarah Willingham from Dragons’ Den.

It is an important time for London to join the organisation - not long after a successful February funding round which saw Feast It raise £1.7 million. In 2018 alone, it reported growth of more than 1,000%.

Digby Vollrath, Co-Founder of Feast It said: “We’re so excited to have Lucas commit his talents to Feast It’s board. He’s added incredible value in the few years since becoming one of our earliest investors and it’s going to be great for us to continue to learn from his breadth of knowledge.”

Hugo Campbell, Co-Founder of Feast It added: “Lucas has a uniquely well-suited set of experience and skills to complement what we’re trying to build here; we couldn’t feel luckier to have him on board.”

Feast It was founded in 2017 by Vollrath, a former festival organiser, and Campbell, himself an ex-journalist at The Independent. The platform has so far  curated a diverse range of more than 650 of the UK's top caterers and mobile bars to book for all kinds of events.

Commenting on his appointment, London said: "I am excited to join the Board as Investor Director having worked with the team since investing during the seed stage. It is a pleasure to work closely with two extremely dynamic and passionate founders and their team, who are completely focused on disrupting the events industry at speed.”
