Exterion Media appoints Bob Strawbridge
Exterion Media, one of Europe’s leading Out-of-Home (OOH) companies, has announced the appointment of Bob Strawbridge as Head of Rail.
The move signals the media owner’s ongoing commitment to driving commercial growth in the rail industry.
As Head of Rail, Bob will work closely with Exterion’s rail franchise partners and will be responsible for productising Exterion’s rail offering, by combining unique first party data, packaging and pricing to bring client-focused solutions to market.
He will work alongside Colin McAlinden (Head of Bus) and Cedric Rouse (Head of Digital) in Exterion’s Product Strategy team, reporting into Andrea Marsh, Product Strategy Director, who joined the business in January last year. His role commences in March 2019.
Strawbridge joins Exterion from Strawbridge Consulting, a sales and marketing consultancy which he set up in 2016. He brings a wealth of OOH advertising and sales experience, across both small and large media owners.
His previous roles include sales director and MD at start-up TenNine Media, a UK media owner in the secondary school sector, and sales manager and group head at Maiden Outdoor, which was acquired by Titan in 2006 and then JCDecaux in 2010.
Strawbridge successfully managed multi-million-pound accounts such as Unilever, Tesco and P&G, and was responsible for developing and implementing commercial sales strategies, working closely with ad agencies.
