Head of Business Development

We're looking for a Head of Business Development to join our team. 

We want you to help grow our business and take it to the next level, finding new and exciting clients to work with as well as foster existing relationships. 

You'll support right across the sales funnel, working to chase down and convert leads and work across the pitch process with relevant members of the team.

We're looking for someone who has: 

  • Experience working within the a digital/creative agency environment
  • A genuine interest in digital and a passion for the sort of work you’ll selling into clients. As the one of the key faces of the business you need to represent Hex professionally and culturally
  • A proven track record of business development - from introducing prospects to an agency through to delivering proposals and finalising sales
  • Experience devising and executing business development strategies including ensuring Hex is visible on all relevant platforms and represented accurately as well as working with external parters e.g. PR
  • The right attitude to be comfortable speaking to prospects at all levels, and know how and when to approach them and what to approach them with
  • Good commercial awareness, and be able to work with the delivery team at Hex to devise on-going strategies
  • Confidence, honesty and transparency - some of the key characteristics of the Hex team!
  • The ability to naturally look to broaden the Hex offer in line with market trends and work with the management team to ensure we’re exploiting new opportunities when they arise
  • Proven ability to be organised and accountable - You will be able to tell the Partners who we are prospecting, why and how at any time
  • Experience leading the pitch process - from extracting and interrogating the brief from the client, working with the team to produce the pitch and ensuring what we propose is in line with client expectations, confirming timelines and chasing feedback
  • Good commercial awareness, and be able to work with the delivery team at Hex to devise on-going strategies
