A senior marketing professional with over 25 years’ national and international experience in culture, tourism and sport specialising in consumer and public/private sector partnerships. I have engaged with a variety of stakeholders at all levels from public and private sectors, have a passion for my work and am able to make quick decisions taking a long-term view on choices made.
My experience has included senior roles at The Commonwealth Games in Manchester and Liverpool’s European Capital of Culture delivering national and international marketing campaigns to change perception of a destination for the visitor economy and investment. I have extensive experience running community engagement programmes having worked with Government, and the public and private sectors to generate awareness, interest and positive outcomes. I currently advise business on transformational change programmes, business development strategies and social values policies.
I am part of the Federation of Small Business, Small Business Priorities Group advising the Greater Manchester Combined Authority on the needs of small business. I am also Board Trustee for the Acorn Trust, a Multi-Academy Schools Trust.
